The night has just begun,
Basement that reeks of mold.
Eight grams of freedom,
a journey through unknowns.
I'm pushing through the door,
Breach to another world.
God shakes my hand,
and blesses me with a holy curse.
I know it feels wrong, something you get used to.
Through blood and veins its rushing over and over
I'm numb in the face.
It grabs ahold of me,
Ceiling shakes and spins.
Information flowing through my head
Again and again.
I'm floating in this space,
The sun keeps me warm.
Death he stares and tells me,
"Life's a game, and no one wins"
A different shade of blue envelopes the whole room.
Their lesson breaks me down,
I'm begging and begging to end it now.
The longest night we shared, no human should bear.
Hours turn days.
Lessons of the world, I sit there curled.
A morbid display.
Red writings on the wall slowly start to drip off.
Gazing in the mirrors face.
I lay there on the floor,
but with a good rapport.
Taking in the overwhelming peace that's in my soul.
I'd do it all again.
It's better with a friend.
What secrets does it hide?
The doors of perception never lie.
